Founded in 1971 The Anglo European School of English offers all the advantages you would expect from a well-established school run by its owners, who have considerable experience of language teaching. We take great pride in creating a relaxed but stimulating atmosphere and in responding to and meeting the individual needs of our clients.

The school is housed very attractive, self-contained premises within walking distance of the town centre and beach and close to the residential areas where our homestays are. The railway and bus stations are only 5 minutes' walk away. The classrooms are light, comfortable and well-equipped. School facilities include a modern cafeteria serving hot lunches, snacks and drinks, a brand new computer suite with free broadband Internet access, a library and a secluded patio with a table tennis table.

We cater for students of all levels and offer a variety of flexible general English, exam and long-term courses. We operate a system of continuous enrolment, which means you may start your course at a time that is convenient for you. The maximum class size is 15 and the average is 11. The minimum age is 16 and there is no maximum. The nationality mix is good with students from over 40 different countries taking courses every year.

Support services include academic counselling for those who wish to go on to study at British colleges and universities. We also have a full accommodation and welfare service. Our homestays are carefully chosen on the basis of distance from the school, comfort and the warmth and friendliness of the family.
