Banbury is a traditional market town situated in the picturesque Cotswolds. Banbury is located in the centre of England so it has excellent transport links - London is just 80 minutes away by train, and Oxford is just 20 minutes away by train. Like Banbury town, ELT Banbury is small and friendly and the ideal place to develop your language skills.
ELT Banbury has 28 years experience in providing quality English language courses to students from around the world. We are British Council accredited and our qualified and experienced teachers and staff are committed to providing you with the best service possible. Some are also qualified TOEIC examiners. The school is open throughout the year and students can enrol to start a course any Monday during the year - we even offer a special Christmas course.
ELT Banbury is a unique language centre offering a complete English language learning experience, improving your English language and your knowldege of British culture and customs. At ELT Banbury, we follow a skeleton timetable which covers course book work, working on individual skills and a topic based session in the afternoons.
In addition to their langauge classes, students are encouraged to make use of the self access centre which includes additional learning material. Students are able to borrow books from the library during the time they are studying at ELT Banbury.
We run an optional social programme on Wednesday afternoon and one day of the weekend. The trips include visits to Warwick Castle, Oxford, Stratford upon Avon, The Cotswolds and London. We can also organise a range of activities for your leisure time from playing golf to horse riding.
ELT Banbury offers a selection of superb accommodation. We recommend staying with one of our carefully selected host families so you can continue your English language practice at home. We can also arrange Bed & Breakfast accommodation or you could stay in one of the many comfortable hotels in Banbury.
