Location. BBSI is located in the south coast town of Bournemouth, just one hour and 40 minutes from London by train. The school is in the town centre, within easy reach of the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, cinemas, nightclubs etc.

Training Programmes. BBSI specialises in English language and vocational training, particularly in fields of management, marketing, law, public relations, diplomacy, finance, banking, hospitality, tourism, science, IT, logistics, aviation, air traffic control. Trainees attend our courses for both practical language and vocational training and in order to gain access to universities in the UK. As well as offering Certificate, Higher-Certificate, Diploma and Foundation programmes, BBSI also offers shorter summer courses.

Academic Staff. The School employs only professionally qualified academic staff possessing a first degree, and either a diploma or certificate qualification in ELT. In addition, all academic staff are required to have professional or vocational experience, plus previous extensive teaching experience.

Facilities. The School occupies 3 prominent and neighbouring, centrally located Victorian buildings, comprising 34 well-equipped classrooms. Facilities include:

• 2 fully-networked IT Multi-Media Centres; 30 computers
• all classrooms equipped with either Interactive Smartboards or DVD/VCR/CD facilities and 8 classrooms with Internet connection
• wireless internet access throughout the School
• Library
• high-speed, Broadband connection
• real-time internet access for trainees on specialised programmes
• Student Common Room, with satellite TV, internet access and refreshment facilities.
• garden area for relaxation

Sports, Leisure & Recreation. The School has a varied and extensive social and sports programme, including parties, barbeques, excursions to famous places, pub evenings etc.

Accommodation. All trainees, including executives, are encouraged to stay with local host-families. Both standard and executive accommodation is available on a part-board basis, ie breakfast and dinner Monday to Friday and all meals at weekends, and help is provided in arranging other types of accommodation. Residential accommodation is also available on request.
