Hilderstone College is considered one of the best English language schools in the UK.  We are a non-profit college, specialising in high quality courses for students and teachers of English from around the world.

 

Our courses offer a 25-hour academic programme with a maximum of 12 students per class (average size is under 9).  Our team of permanent teachers is among the most qualified and experienced in the UK. For the last 5 years, over 95% of all students at the college have said that the teaching they received and the College in general were “Good” or “Very Good”.

 

We provide a fully-supervised Multimedia Learning Centre which offers:

 

·        FREE internet, email access and wi-fi for laptops

·        computer workstations

·        video and listening stations

·        self-access study materials

·        examination practice materials

·        reading area for quiet private study

 

Our excellent host family accommodation is all within walking distance of the College (single room, half-board weekdays and full-board weekends).  We will not place any other speaker of your language in the same house.  We can also arrange self-catering by request.

 

All year round we offer a rich social and cultural programme which is free (apart from excursions).  Students on Long Courses can also join an Adult Education evening class at a discounted rate, offering an exceptional opportunity to meet with the local community as well as with other international students.

  

Broadstairs is an ideal town to stay in – a lovely and lively seaside town with quick and easy direct access to London, Canterbury and the rest of Europe.  Paris is only 2 ¾ hours away by Eurostar! It is attractive and friendly with excellent residential areas close to the College, a superb, new shopping centre and a cultural centre with multiplex cinema, sports centres, pubs, restaurants and music venues.
