Oxford House College, Stratford-upon-Avon is an English Language School in Central England. The College is next to the River Avon, 400 metres from the town centre and near the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The delightful school buildings are set in tree-lined gardens, including a riverside garden.
The atmosphere is informal and friendly, providing an excellent environment for study. The senior teaching staff and student services team are very experienced, having worked at the college for many years.
We are a small, friendly, professionally-run school, accredited by the British Council and a member of both the Education UK Partnership and English UK.

We can provide comfortable, half board Homestay accommodation for our students, arranged by our Accommodation Officer. Most of our students live close to the College, 10-15 minutes on foot on avarage. Students have a single room - a private bathroom and / or Internet access from your room are optional. The College can also arrange hotel accommodation and Summer College Residence.
The College’s social activities and excursions programme includes a free weekly DVD film evening, parties, barbecues, theatre visits, drama evenings and quizzes. There are excursions to nearby Warwick Castle and the Cotswolds, and to Oxford, London, Bath, Stonehenge, Cambridge, Nottingham and Wales, and weekend trips to coastal villages in Cornwall.
Stratford-upon-Avon is best known as the birthplace of England's greatest writer, William Shakespeare, and this connection continues to attract theatre-lovers and tourists to the town from all over the world.
There are three theatres, including the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. There is a modern cinema, large department stores, a wide variety of fashion outlets, cafes, discos, pubs and restaurants. Stratford Leisure Centre has a large swimming pool, modern gym, tennis courts, basketball, badminton and other facilities. There are 3 superb golf courses near the College and many other sports and hobbies are also available in the town.
Stratford-upon-Avon is small and clean with lots of open, green spaces and public parks.. There are good transport communications, including a direct train service to London Marylebone mainline train station and a coach service to London Victoria Coach Station.
